  3. update

can’t believe i’m in the 140s. My BMI is under 25 (Overweight for my height) for the first time in years. gotta get my motivation back. I feel like since the last season of The Biggest Loser finished up, I’ve been exercising less because I can’t follow along. haha. Maybe I’ll get my butt in gear and re-watch this season on Hulu while I workout.

  5. Ok ok, I’ve been less than motivated. Holding at 150 these past few days. Trying to motivate myself to get back into my running and strength training. It’s just been so damn hot in the afternoons. Not to mention we don’t have Central Heat + Air. And only a fan in the room where i run. 95 degrees is suffocating. 24 lbs down, 27 to go!

Tomorrow’s another day, and that day has my workout at the top of the list (after my half-day of work of course.) I do best when I set goals, so tonight I’m going to work on my revised workout plan (so I don’t burn out again.) I haven’t even hit a plateau, I just ran out of time to do all the stuff I was supposed to be doing while I was working out (over-committed, much.)

New Goal. By June 10th, I will be solid at 140 lbs (losing another 10 lbs at least)

The boy’s birthday is June 29th, so I’m going to push for 135 by then (13lbs from UGW), I’ll be completely happy with myself and my hard work. We’re going to the beach to celebrate this year :) It’ll be the healthiest weight I’ve been at since freshman year of high school (with disordered eating I fluctuated in between 105-125, and then after my injury, i found solace in food, and ballooned to 150+)

Essentially in between May 10th, 2012 (Today) and June 29th - 50 DAYS - I am aiming for losing another 15 lbs (less than my last 50 day hardcore commitment to clean eating + exercise.)

since I haven’t exactly been “rewarding myself” for these mini-goals I’ve achieved, (my reward for hitting 150 was time-off from running for my knees) my reward will be a professional hair cut + color combined with a new bathing suit and a new pair of jeans.

Cheers! Time to go above and beyond.

    XD

  7. Edit:

151, without tryin’  and it’s not water weight ( I drink at least 4 liters every day. usually.) Woot!

  8. Life Update @ 153

So, I took about a week off (with sporadic workouts and but kept up eating clean.) Still at 153! woot! I even indulged in crazy amounts of alcohol (anniversary celebration in Nashville - which led to me slipping in a giant mud puddle and breaking my finger - facepalm,) and a lotta dark chocolate. But here I am, ready to keep on keepin’ on.

My only obstacle so far is the heat. Down in the South, it’s already blazing hot during the day. I usually work out around 5-7pm after work, so I’m trying to figure out if it’d be better working out in the mornings (and waking up at 7AM, boo) or later on in the evening (it cools down around 8:30PM.) I’ve been using this week to feel out waking up earlier (except for my long weekend, ha.) I think I’ll keep aiming for 15 minutes earlier every 2 days and see how far that gets me. If I can naturally alter my sleep schedule, I think I can fit in my run first thing in the a.m.

My goal is to take the next 2 months and focus on losing another 20 lbs. From Feb 24 - April 24, I lost 22lb, so I hope to keep up the progress (on the scale or not.) I’m not even sure if my UGW will even look healthy, so I’m taking it one step at a time. I’m halfway there and hopefully it shows!

I am re-adjusting since I stopped taking OrthoEvra (yay!) and am closer to feeling emotionally, mentally, and physically healthy. I’m happier for longer stretches of time, and I’ve been able to call myself out on mini-flipouts and prevent them from getting worse. (Mostly just dumb little spats with me and the boy, and i know that I was in the wrong.) Time to breathe deep and keep running!
